hesitation & sputter issues and cluster issues
Hey i have a 2001 a6 2.7t, when i first start my car in the am to goto work i usually let it run for a few minutes, however when i take off the car seems like its not getting gas or something, kinda sputters and hesitates, but after about 20 seconds of acceleration it goes away, i used the vag-com, and there are no codes.
Any ideas? I am going to bring it to the stealership, i still have 55k on cpo.
Also everytime i start my car a different line on the instrument cluster is out on the diagnostics screen. Is this covered by cpo?

RE: hesitation & sputter issues and cluster issues
believe it or not but the solution is super easy....stop using 91+ octane in the car, use 89...I have a 2000 A6 2.7T and I always used 93 octane...I had the same problem, the car has a hard time burning the fuel when the car was cold...I put in a tank of 89 octane and it imediately cleared it up! I'll switch back to 93 octane when to temperature goes back up...give it a try, you'll be surprised.
