Yeah Jeffla, that is the official plan, after further research I have found that is the best way to do it, and after 2 weeks I will check the condition of the fluid to see if a lot of sludge was stirred up from the fresh fluid, I will be doing it this week and let all of you know how it works out.
One question, I keep seeing posts explaining you need to monitor the tranny TEMP w/ the vag com while filling it up. can you or anybody explain this step, what purpose does monitoring TEMPERATURE serve? I can understand monitoring the level while switching through the gears during the fluid refill (from what I've read you just make sure it is just about to spill out the fill hole). any input on this step. BTW I do have a VAG COM w/ VCDS Lite fully registered
