I just traded my '98 A6 2.8 quatro with 139,000 for a CPO 06 A6 3.2 quatro with 41,000 miles. The '98 was starting to show some age and would have needed new rotors and tires before winter, but the engine and tranny were running like new. The new(ish) A6 is one of the most beautiful cars on the road and has driving performance to match it's looks. My other ride is a 2006 BMW 330i, another great car. I'm spoiled.

230K on my 1999 A6 Quattro and still going. It's my first Audi and it's really holding up well. I bought it with about 90K on it.

UPDATE UPDATE -- 97 Avant 2.8 --- Now at 245,000 -- Headed for 300,000

 

2001 A6 2.7T...103,000 mi, runs great.

2001 A6 2.7T - 207,500 and doing well. Some oil leaking (valve covers, cam tensioners) and new outer CV boots and brakes/rotors this weekend. Otherwise - great car!
