Burns oil like a 2-stroke, but runs great!

 

2003 A6 2.7T Tiptronic, just rolled over to 56k and still running great!

 

99 2.8, something like 120k. Doesn't look or run like it though.

 

I have 54k miles on my 2001 Audi A6 Quattro AWD 2.7L Biturbo Tiptronic, which I bought a year ago at 48k.

 

2000 2.7 107k. New Torque convertor, ABS modulator, auxillary waterpump, master window switch, coolant reservior, ceramic pads and rotors all around, both CV boots, cup holders, ECM, window guides, spark plugs, shocks, tire rods, control arms, starter, alternator, thermostat, waterpump, timing belt, pullies and tensioner, trans cooler lines, filter, and o-rings, detached rearview mirror, and a partridge in a pear tree!

 

Guess mine is the baby of the group with just over 8K on her

2008 A6 purchased one month ago as a demo model with 7.5 K on the clock.

 

Last of the line 1996 build date original A6 with 30v 2.8 & 4 speed auto, 23,000 miles. I has been looked after real nice and is in as new condition. Came with powered sunroof and 10 CD stacker.

 

2002 2.7T, just turned 34,500

 

When did Audi switch over to the 30v in 1996?
