how much would it cost to convert my 2000 a6 2.7t tiptronic 5 speed to manual? please excuse my ignorance and tell me this is possible. the tiptronic tranny is starting to make me sick and i would rather keep my car than trade for the same with manual.

 

it would be pretty hard, and expensive, u would be better off trading in ur car for a 6 spd and u prolly would still have money left over. changin it to 6 spd, u would need a new instrument cluster, new 6 spd tranny with the goodies to support it, new ecu (id think, tip ecu has the shift points in it if im not mistaken) then u would still need to get it installed, then finding someone who can do a swap like that is gonna be hard enough. not worth it imo
