Default How much should I pay?

I'm thinking of trading in my 2000 Audi a6 2.8 quattro auto/tip 122000 miles for a 2001 BMW 330I manual 126000 miles.

How much do u think I should pay?
Do u even think I should go for the trade-in?

if you have quattro don't trade it =) ~ the C5 imo is more well put together than a E46 (non-m).. the 330 is a little quicker but not a better car overall.

NOT WORTH IT!!! The Audi is a higher quallity car. And like OC said, if you have Quattro, never make that trade. Put a couple hundred dollars into your 2.8 and it will run just as good as that Bimmer. You are gaining one thing IMO with that trade, a manual tranny. And you can get that in a C5 A6 anyways. Keep your car, please! Audis lead, never follow

stay with the Audi, no BMW is worth the value of an Audi.

Sounds like they should give you some money along with the BMW for your Audi!

IMO, they are two completely different cars. A6 is a cruiser, and 330 is more of a sportier car. A6 has better interior amenities and smoother ride. 330i, definitely quicker, but not as comfortable. Although I like my wife's 03 325i, we always drive my car when we go somewhere if that tells you something.

well, I guess the majority says stay with the Audi. I was just looking for a faster car, especially that this is a stick, and I'm really dying for a stick.
I was also thinking of the 2.7T, but I don't want a new car that looks just like mine, so I thought of the BMW for a change. I guess I'll just wait a while though till I have more money, then I might get a newer Audi.

the 330 is fast, but not fast enough to justify the trade =)
I drove a E46 325 for a little while during ownership of my Audi too!

I wouldn't go for the 325I though, it's only 184 HP, but the 330I is 225HP, so it's much more powerful.
On a second though,
You said if it's a Quattro don't trade it in, I also found a 2003 325XI, so it's all wheel drive, also a stick with 108000 miles, what do you think?
