Trying to save some $$ on the car going in for repairs for a water pump in a few days. The heater blower also needs replacing and I thought I could save myself a few hundred bucks and do it myself. Can anyone tell me where the hell it is and maybe even a quick step-by-step on how?
Thanks, JR

Thats a great write up. However now knowing where it's located, I fear that is not the culprit of my particular sound. The sound I have hearing is when I turn the climate control (heat or A/C) off. It's not terribly noticeable over the engine noise when it's on, however when I turn it off, it sounds like a fluttering/winding down noise. Like a fan coming to a stop that has bad bearings. But it comes and goes perfectly in conjunction with me turning the climate control on/off. A local shop said it was the heater blower so that's where I was coming from. Judging by what I said above, does anyone have any idea what/where this noise is coming from? It's coming from the engine bay somewhere, not the cabin.Originally Posted by hxgaser
Do you mean the motor itself? Anyways, try this.http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec132.shtml
I might pop my heater motor out anyways and clean it judging by what that tech article showed! Thanks again.
