Default I broke the tail light plastic on my a6...

I searched for the part online, and they are all over $100!
But I think that is the price for the entire assembly, with the bulb and wires and everything
I just need the otuer plastic shell! THere is just a chip on the corner of my drivers side tailight, cosmetic damage only!
So if I wanted to replace that, would it really cost over $100?
thanks

I think you'll have to bite the bullet and replace the whole assembly! Maybe check Blauparts, Shokan or 4usedaudiparts. You might find something for less then $100. Remember even if your replacement isn't brand new and may have some imperfections on it, you can always wet sand them and polish them!

OOOO

Sounds like a perfect time to upgrade to some LED tail lights....
