So Jeff, how did the repair go? Was everything, the bumper, hood and the headlights fixed and paid for by the insurance? Does your car look like it did before the mishap?

 

The car looks perfect, I took it to Raymonds Auto body in St. Paul, Mn and the car looks 10x better than before the accident. It turns out that the initial estimate of 1500.00 was too low. It ended up being $6002.65, I got a new hood, headlights, fenders, bumper, lower engine cover, radiator, condensor, bumper supports and a crap load of brackets and under hood stickers. They used all new oem Audi parts and fluids. They buffed the whole car, and completely detailed the inside. One of my co-workers the other day asked if I got a new car. I had to laugh as my car is a 2000 with 125k miles on it. Having new headlights is amazing, I didn't realized how crappy my old ones were perfoming.

So far my insurance co is in arbitration with his, they(his) are only willing to pay 70% and my insurance wants them to pay 100%. In a couple of months it will be all over with. I hate to say it but I am glad it happened, my car looks so much better than it did before the accident. I'll take some pictures later today.

Man, that's awesome. Maybe every cloud does have a silver lining, especially since it rained right after you got hit by that dump truck! You should definitely post some pictures.
