i just got an 03 2.7T...
congrats!
how many miles? color? stick or tip?
my 2 cent:
synthetic oil - 10w40 in warmer weather, 5w30 in cold
don't put wheels bigger than 18 and make sure you have the correct profile (tire size calculator here:http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html)
be mindful of your timing belt (change recomended at 75k mi, but in reality, you can go up to 80-85,000 miles, as long as you know that by 85k miles its changed)
don't get the headliner dirty (its a pain to clean
)
check out southboroaudiguy's reference page - very very very useful for all kinds of upgrades (particularly, some tricks, like rewiring the fog lights or reprogramming the stereo settings)
h-sport bars are great for minimizing roll during cornering - some people think A6s are a bit soft
chip the ecu, but do your research first - you want to get one that can reprogrammed back to stock settings for those times you go to the dealer
other than that, enjoy
)

Just drive it and enjoy for a while before you start tinkering. If you are going for perfoemance, start with H-sport sway bars. They are about $400+/-, and a moderate DIY install. The gains on cornering are HUGE, and most will agree the best bang-for-the-buck mod out there!
Is your car CPO? If not, consider an aftermarket warranty to give you a few more years of worry-free driving. I went with Audi's Pure Protection (platinum coverage), and I have 2 more years of essentially bumper to bumper coverage with $0 deductible. The platinum coverage is "exclusionary" which means EVERYTHING on the car is covered unless it is on the specific excluded list, which is fairly short.
Enjoy!

If it's your first Audi experience, you will enjoy it. My 03 has the 6-speed, and it's a pleasure to drive a sports luxury car with a standard (except when I have to go to Detroit and deal with the traffic). I bought mine used with 38k miles from a private party who babied it, and I have doubled the mileage in 18 months. I did have to replace the alternator, which kind of ticked me off.
I upgraded with the GIAC chip, Bailey diverters, and a Samco TBB. It's definitely faster in the higher gears. I don't get off on drag-racing it but I like to pass on the interstate and in 6th it will pop from 75 to 90-100 VERY quickly. As another member said, run a good synthetic and change it every 6000 miles. I know the book says 10K, but the turbos will appreciate it and last longer. And everything I have read in this forum says prepare to replace the timing belt and water pump, plus tensioners, at around 100k.
While I wish the gas mileage was a little better (it hovers around 22-23 mpg, but I drive 70-80 on the highway), it's worth it to have the quattro in the winter. I found it better than the many FWDs I owned, and even better than my CJ-7s. It's just rock solid in snow and slush. I drive 17" Pirelli all-seasons in the winter and 18" Cooper Zeons in the summer.
If may be four model years old, but kept clean and waxed, it's a very stylish car and people comment on it's looks. It's silver exterior with black interior. I put a Colgan bra on it to protect the front from road debris and the previous owner debadged it. Not sure I like that, but when I was in Germany this summer I noticed a lot of Audis had the same treatment.
You'll find it is governed to 133 mph, and the GIAC chip eliminates that but I have not had the opportunity to test it out. Someone mentioned it should gear out at 150-160 which could be interesting. My Crossfire is limited to 150 and I've had it to 140 before running out of safe (read cop-free) road.
Good luck.
