Default ignition coil fried, now will not start

my 2003 A6 was running fine, then started to miss-fire while driving it. Smoke from under the hood, Found the number 1 spark coil glowing red hot, poured water on it and after things cooled down cut off the wiring connector that had melted together(all wires were shorted together to this ignitor). Replace the wiring and coil and a bunch of blown fuses. Car will crank, but will not start. Seems like some fuses in the fuse block not getting 12V to them when the ignition switch is on.
What do I look for now? Ignition switch? Fusable link?

Thanks,

don
