Default Ignition switch in '99 A6 Quattro

Where is the Ignition switch in a '99 A6 Quattro? Is it towards the base of the steering collum? And is it easy to get at?

Figured out where the ignition switch is. Now I can't figure out the problem. I have had the battery tested and it was okay, it is only 2 months old and shows 12.75 volts. I had the starter checked, first at a parts store, then at a starter repair shop, and they both tell me that there is nothing wrong with it. The starter spins fine when it is not mounted to the engine block. But it still just clicks when it is mounted to the engine block when I engage the starter. I also have bypassed the ignition switch with a remote starter switch, nothing, just clicks. Any suggestions?

check the ground wire between the block and frame. Remove both ends clean the contact areas and replace.

NH USA, thanks that was it. It was not very easy to find, but once I cleaned both ends and re-attached it the car started. So thanks again.
