well, here are some pics of my car at the North Of The Border Bash that happened this weekend. i only got to snap a few pics of my car actually at the show, before my battery died. didnt put it on the charger right, and didnt charge all night. i picked up the car 5:30am, and was at the show for 8:30am. buddy worked all night to meet the deadline, so a couple things werent done proper. the amp rack is gonna be sanded and painted later, and my trunks gonna be all vynl. the material for the a-pillar isnt going to be in until atleast monday, so i got fukked on that part, and had no a-pillar for the show. the quality of the dvds are unbelieveable, and alot of people that seen it, have said the same. anyways, here some pics, aint the greats shots some of em, but u get the picture...









notice the stickers that give me 100rms per sticker, 200rms bonus












the leds look messed in the pics, but my flood light in the trunk is gonna be changed to red, so the leds will belend in more. plus i was really close to the garage door, so i couldnt back up to show how they illuminate. the screens leds can be changed to green or red, and the red matches perfect.

least now i have a basic layout done, that i can work off of, the finshed trunk should be alot better
audio componets include:
Kenwood DDX-8017 double din touch screen deck
2 vr-302 crossfire amps, and 1 vr600d
2 Resonant Engineering SX 12" custom dual 1ohm drivers
all in custom fiber glass enclosures

 

oh here is 3 other pics, 2 is the install in the back of a b5 a4. couldnt tell you the year.. but the dude did it himself, hes a pro installer. we were in the same crossfire booth at the show.

Important question! where did you get the material for the A-pillar?! What colour is it, and most importantly, you gonna have any left over!?

 

not positive the actual shop location, but ill pm you when i get mine, if ur interested. dude said he can get 3 colours. mines the light grey, speaker cloth material. not sure if urs is the same, but ill let you know.

 

how did they do the dash kit for the double din screen? completely custom or is it adapted from a single din unit?
