My 2002 A6 3.0 AWD occasionally will jerk steadily and make a clunk noise when maintaining speed between 35-45mph. No problem accelerating or decel, but when I have my foot on the gas just enough to keep my speed the same it will jerk every 1 second. Any suggestions as to what the problem will be? I have already started putting money away with the anticipation it will be major.

 

If you don't know when last time the tranny service was, it's time to change tranny fluid and filter in a Audi specialized indy shop. Better change the differential fluids also.
