Hey guys, Just bought an 2002 A6 3.0Q. The Audi dealer failed to tell me that my check engine light would come on. I pulled the code and it is P0431. I took it in to get it repaired and they said it was a bad Catalytic converter, and of course, they're not willing to pay that much to fix the car. So I said just give me the converter and I'll put it on. My question is... from my understanding BANK 2 (P0431) is the faulty Cat, which is the drivers side correct? Also, Should I be prepared to fix the other one? Thanks! Corey

 

My 3.0 only has one cat located in the middle of the car and then splits to two mufflers. Look under the car and verify. Should be the same.
