I picked-up my 2005 A6 4.2 yesterday. I love this car.

Among other things, of course, it's equipped with the Sport Package. Man, that ride is harsh when encountering our beat-up Interstate highways...but it was amazing at 135mph across NM!

The original sticker shows as "2005 Audi A6 4.2 quattro AT6" - What is "AT6"? (auto trans 6 speed?).

Hey anpk05. Nice ride. I am still trying to get my key fob to work right <grin> , but yeah...I'll be looking at exhaust for sure...and whatever else I can learn that might be fun.

I love this Audi V8...and the Sport Package/suspension was absolutely amazing at 135mph when I drove it back home Saturday.

What are some of the best "quick" mods for the 4.2?

Unitronic has a chip that adds 20 to both hp and torque. You can also check out Madaudi.com for exterior mods.

 

go to vast performance for a ecu tune and a tcu tune ... enjoy man the 4.2 is nice
