Default k&n filters

are those k&n air filters really worth the money,and they have anydrawbacks?
i plan to buy one

no buddy. i just bought one too. nothing wrong with letting your car breathe. and you can clean them off after they get dirty unlike the paper ones.

They are not the best thing for Audi's especially the 2.7t. The oil on the K&N can mess up or clog your MAF, I would simply suggest going with an oem one from Audi.

i don't have a turbo...and my old one was a factory and they are nice until you get onto a dirt road, i guess reusing makes them really worth it.

No this will not mess with your MAF. You are running a better filter inside the stock airbox. Your car will just run a little better and will take in more air. Direct cone intakes can cause problems to the cone or the MAF ( bigger problem the more HP you are running ). I got my K&N filter 2 months ago and it runs just as good as my 250-300 dollar modded intake. With a couple fun little tricks you can do some more stuff to get gains out of the stock air box. The filter aloine runs great though.
