key fob stopped working

Today my key stopped working, of course at a very inconvenient time. Do these need battery replacements every once in awhile?

Yea, you might also need to recode it. The procedure for that is in the manual

The battery in my FOB only lasts about 2 years. The battery is a 2032 and can be picked up at your local drug strore.
