Default Leds in tails question

Alright so I ordered a couple LED bulbs and I have a few questions if anyone has done this before. I did it on my Jetta and it worked out fine, but does anyone have a wiring diagram for the wires in the back of the tail light harness?

I already put a dual intensity bulb in the brake/tail light bulb and I keep getting the message that the bulb is out on my display. Would attaching a resistor to it eliminate that message?

Any help is appreciated!

Try superbrightleds.com. I was thinking of doing the same on my 2000 A6. Doing some research and found this site. Looks like they offer purpose made resistor kits for the problem of lighter loads from the LEDs. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.
