I am looking at getting my first Audi.

I have been a Volvo guy for many years, but looking for a change.

I was looking at the A6 (like the mid-size).

Looking to spend between 6k-9k.

That seems to get me between 2001 and 2003.

What is the best year in that range?

Which is better 3.0 or 2.7T? The non-turbo Volvos are old dog slow. Is that the case with the 3.0?

I have always done most of mine own repair on the Volvo. Are the Audis hard to work on?

Parts are not too bad from FCPGroton.

What should I look for while purchasing?

How often do the timing belts need to be changed?

Any other advise? SHould I go for an Audi, or stick with Volvo?
