In other words, theturbo Audisusea closed loop systemwhere unused boost is recirculated through the system, therefore you can't use BOV's since it will screw up MAF timings and such. You'll want diverter valves instead...

Can someone please explain diverter valves to me? What they do, where they go, how much they run for and how they will improve performance/sounds/looks?
Thanks |

RE: looking into getting a set of blow off valves
at least on the a4's you can use a bov........ but it has to be closed at idel or your car will stutter and die....... alot of people are using the hybrid valve... it has the option to be 80/20, 50/50, or 20/80...... but i know people using straight bov's........ maybe that isn't the case on the a6, but i know it works for the a4
