Hey everyone. Just picked up a new 2001 a6 4.2 v8. Was wondering what kind if exhaust would make this thing loud, and wake up a little bit. Any help would be nice, Thanks

 

Go to a local, reputable exhaust shop and have them fabricate one. It'll be way cheaper than out of a box. A 2.5 inch cat back should just about do it. "Piggy-pipe" your pre-cats (not the main cats) will also help with the growl and also free up some torque.
