Default looking for tire recomendations

Just picked up the A6 ( C5) a little while ago . 2.8 litre . I bought it with snow tires on so am looking for all season . Anyone have any recomendations since i am driving right by the tire rack on Friday . This is a 90% highway car for my wife and just looking for a solid tire nothing supoer high performance. Looking to pay around 100.00 a tire if i can. Any recomendations from current owners ? i was going to get goodyears RS-A tires but the reviews say they are garbage from current owners . i guess you get what you pay for .. any common picks for our car that i am just not aware of ?

Thanks In advance.

Hard to cast any recomendations having only RS-A on the ground.
Consider:
-climate
-driving abilities and habits.

One thing only - do you think that RS-A sold in California are the same as RS-A tires sold in Alaska? - question is self-explanatory.
Having purchased tires from on- line might fit or might not fit your area-specific climate conditions- expect corresponding reviews

Why not try Costco - you should always have the option to exchange the tires if not satisfied...

My current favorite all season tires are Kumho Exsta AST. They are inexpensive and very good quality. I had these on my Mini Cooper and they were great, quiet and grippy. This is about $95 at Tire Rack.

OH CRAP!! The tire question again!

There are almost as many answers to this as there are brands of tires.
Stay away from Michelins - they have soft sidewalls.

I use Yokohama Avid TRZ on my vehicles when I purchase them.

My current Audi has Michelin Exalto's (came on the vehicle) and I have blown out two due to sidewall problems.

Also have a set of BF Goodrich Touring TAs mounted for the the Audi that give a better ride and would be on the car if I was not trying to get all I could out of the Exaltos.

Watch out for the buy 4 - pay for 5 deals!

I love this question!

When I lived in Florida with great roads I felt everything so I ended up with Bridgestone Pole Position and I like them better than Michelin energy. But now I'm back in NY with a pot hole every 6 inches I could have stone for tires and never know it.

I have always had good luck and good wear with Bridgestone tires.

Also look into Pirelli P-Zero Nero

But if your not on smooth roads go for longer lasting all season tires.

If your budget minded I don't think there is a big difference in any decent tire but try checking prices on tire rack. It appears that some tires come standard in Audi sizes and some are special order and cost more.

Tirerack.com is your friend.

I am happy with my potenza g009 but I think they discontinued it.

If you asked => the answer is:

Nokian WR (all weather) all year round - because they handle -40C with no issues!
