My mirror control **** in the center console broke off, just got the new one. Anyone have an easy way to replace this without removing the center console?

 

Just reach in underneath the switch from the cupholder slot and pop it out. Should be easy to reach from there.

 

It's not that easy on my '99.

Is there another option or an easier way of getting just the mid panel of the console apart without messing with the armrest?

the mirror switch is held in by the clips on the plastic frame. It won't make sense to you until you have the switch removed.

To remove, just use a small screwdriver and pry it out from the sides. It will pop right up.
