I recently purchased a Motorola Droid 2 through Verizon. Unfortunately the phone is not synching with the phone book in my 2005 A6. I have not experienced this problem with any of the prior phones that I have used with the car during the last 5 and 1/2 years. Has anyone succesfuly synched a Motorola Droid 2 with their car. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem may be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am no android guru by any means, but I do know that my friends Droid (1) requires a restart to get the sync to work. My android experience only lasted 3 days with the Evo 4g, it was a great phone, but Sprint in my area was bad.

That's the only thing I can think of that he has to do to get it to work, but he does have to do it all the time.

 

I have restarted the phone and the MMI to no avail. Does anyone have any other ideas on what the problem could be?
