Unhappy Multitronic Problems I think!

Hi, recently purchased (private) an Audi A6 2.5 Tdi avant SE, 2003 52 plate, 100000 miles (multitronic). Wow what a car, drives great, wonderful.....untill yesterday (1 month in on ownership). There seems to be a minor development on pulling away. When I pull away, there seems to be a slight slip (almost like a clutch slip) that lasts for no more than a second, and now I have felt it, yep its there, but not all the time........ esp on/off the same, manual mode the same.... any thoughts as the prices i have seen on here for boxes or overhauls are making my hair stand on end!!!

Start with a proper fluid and filter change. A small slip at startup is sometimes (but not always) a sign of a clogged filter. In any case, its your cheapest solution, if it works.

Good luck,

Bob
