i have a stock 01 2.7. in the next week or so me and my mechanic are going to cut off the resonator mufflers and replace it with straight piping (stock size) and leave the 2 stock rear mufflers for now to see how the car sounds. eventually i wanna get magnaflows to free up the exhaust more. but with the stock i think 2.25 piping does anyone know how the car will sound with the first set of mufflers cut out? any clips? ive seen the ones on youtube but most seem to have replaced from the cat back with 2.5 sttraight piping and magnaflows. but im just gonna leave the stock size in for now. anyone know how it might sound?

 

bump... anyone? is it worth leaving the 2.25 piping on? or should i put a 2.5 when i put on the mufflers?

i havve 2.5 only from cats back ... really you should just run test pipes to magnaflows
