Hey all, just purchased a 2000 A6 2.8 w/58K miles for 14K, been searching the forum for some info on this car, but most of you have 3.0 or 2.7T's, not much info out there on the 2.8. Just looking to see what some of you have done for mods to your rides and looking to see what i should or shouldn't be leery of, common issues with this model. I see a lot of comments on replacing the timing belt after 80K or so, looking to see what i should do about shocks/strus etc. Thanks

 

I drive a 2.8 but have not modded it. When I first started here they said to ask someone about mods. It might be hard to search but you could find that guy he made a whole list of what he did.
