well compared to how it looked before it looks great now
I personally like the RS6 style.
Does anyone know if you can get the RS6 style grill but keep the emblem rings on it? for a 01 2.7t
I've always seen it without it which is pretty disappointing.

RS6's grill is shaped a bit differently, but I'mm pretty sure lltek has something like what you're looking for.

Man that is night and day with the restore, you hit a pole or something? Nice pin point damage straight up the middle.

I know the RS6 grill is a bit diff. Its not only more squared out like the newer 01+ models but also probably wider along with the car. Im just saying the mesh grill i think its called? but with the rings still on it.

I am thinking about taking my stock grill and breaking off the bits around the rings (leaving the rings in place attached to... havnt got there) then just put that Rs6 mesh in the placeof the old stuff. I think it will be ok. If not I guess you'll be seeing a WTB post from me lol I imagine if I just remove the stock plastic bits and glue the mesh in I can still mount it as normal.

The edge of the gril doesn't exist it seems. It's like lights, grill, lights. No border like the chrome ones most of us have.

Yep, gassed it a couple of times in the slick, totally lost control , went right into a steel post.
bent the nose of the pas. side frame rail in a little and moved the d. side mtr. mount.air bags did not go off.
car lined up with in specs, even after lowering.
This is a 3 layer grill so it has a dimensional look to it that dosent show in pics.
The first layer ( or inner ) is a cousrse alloy somewhat like the RS6 grill covered by 2 layers of a fine alloy mesh giving the look of mail if thats how you spell it ? you know ( armor )
