My official New A6 Owner thread!
Hey all,
Been posting for a little while, but mostly just reading. I think I joined when i started my search for an A4 last year. Im a huge Audi fan and have been for a while now, mostly thanks to my Dad who owns an A4 and used to sell them at a local dealer when I was growing up. Well, had a heck of a time finding one I liked (most had too many problems to justify buying). But last Tuesday I found a good deal on a nice A6 and had to grab it.
The A6 is a better fit for me it turns out seeing as I have 2 kids, and it has the power I really want. I hope to do some minor mods (maybe stage 2 if money allows), but other than that I just hope to keep it in good shape and enjoy the heck out of it.

Congrats on the new car. I have the same (01'). You'll really start to enjoy it. If you really want a bang for your buck on performance, get a chipp. Most suggest APR or GIAC. Ill be getting the APR chip soon.
Also, You seem to have a pretty well kept car. Treat it well and it will treat you well. Remember to always do the warm up and cool down. You deffinatly dont want the turbos to blow. And always keep up with the oil changes. Do them alittle earlier than suggested. Around 3500-4000 miles.
yeah,
I always let the car get to normal idle before taking off.
The car was actually not TOO bad when I got it, but it couldve been better. The wheels are pretty banged up so im looking to get some new ones, but these will do untill I can afford them hehe. It really just needed a good detailing. Hopefully the weather will get better soon so I can do that and get a wax on it.

it's a great blend between performance, luxury and convenience.
