Default Nav system

Hey guys I was looking at nav systems on ebay, they are going for about 1,350 and i would rather put a audi system than a custom one like pioneer, i was wondering is there anyway to put the nav system into a 1998 a6 2.8? i wasnt sure if they are even compatible but the kit im looking at comes with the antenna and plug and play connectors, is there any othere parts i would need to make this conversion cause as i have seen audis didnt really start gettin nav till 02... just wondering thanks!!!

If you have the doubble din radio, it should fit right in, you need......
RNS-E, wireing harness, FACRA adapter, Nav DVD, radio keys, RNS-E code, & a Vag-com.

can you guys tell me how to install it? do I need a "plug and play" harness? do I have to run the antenna wire thru all the car or can I just leave the antenna behind the unit?
