Default NEED AN EXPERT!!

I dont think it all fits on one thread so I will break it up...

Hey guys, I am furious! My check engine light was on, so I took it to the "STEALER SHIP" on Thursday. They had my car for almost 3 hours- $209.88 later...... now its back on!! Please help I will type the entire invoice up. See if you can make sense of this:

Cause: System to lean, leak

61363 system to lean, leak road test, performed GFF, DTC'SP0332 knock sensor G66 signal to low, wporadic and P1138 long term fuel add system to leanm checked system as per GFF, used special leak dectection spray as per AUDI, sprayed entire intake area to check for leak

alos check MVB 33 at the same time to see difference, check wireing harness to map sensor, ok, checked map sensor ok

To make a long story short they want another $250 to do a De-carbonation intake cleaner (fuel induction service) I wont pay that because the arent even sure! Can I do this myself? what do I need? Thanks!

Use this to get the VAG DTC code for the corresponding P-Code: http://DTCSearch.PlanetVAG.com

Then look for the DTC on the Ross-Tech wiki to see what that the possible causes coudl be: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/17544/P1136/004406

When posting a problem don't forget the "year" of the A6! Also, mention if the A6 has a California engine.

Take your car to a reputable mechanic. They can test your car too, for a lot cheaper
