Normally, flooding happens on the passenger side, due to the drains under the battery and brake reservoir clogging up with leaves, or the plastic at the bottom of the windshield is not installed correctly. Water enters the cabin filter, and floods the floor and fries your computers.

Well if the headliner is wet i will give you the $50,000 secret. The problem is at the connection point between the drain and the sunroof track. You have 4 sunroof drains that are four green hoses, these most of time the drains are fine, however......there is a little white connection piece thats glued onto the end of the hose connecting the hose and the sunroof track. The manufacture super glues the connector at two points on the hose, this is a faulty design, they should have used silicone to completely seal the connection piece. What you need to do is get the headliner loose enough to get your hand in there and pull the drain off of the sunroof track, pull the drain towards you so it clears the headliner. Use a screwdriver and break the superglue loose and pull the white connector piece off the green drain hose. Find yourself some clear silicone sealant and coat the inside of the connector piece, put the connector back onto the green drain hose and let it dry overnight. The next day connect the hose back up to the sunroof track and you are good to go. Lucky you, i just saved you 5 hours of labor for removing the headliner at the dealer to fix the problem.

I still think water is splashing from the trunk well, through the rear trunk wall, and down to the drivers rear footwell. Which also means there is probably water sitting under the rear seat also.
Just look where your spare tire is real quick and see if there is water sitting around it. I THINK you have the same drain tubes around the trunk as the others are talking about around the sunroof. If one of them pulled off or is clogged, you would be getting water back there. Not sure about the tubes though. Don't have my car right now to check.

well guys sorry for reporting late. I looked around the headliner looks just fine and is very dry. There is no water in trunk wall (or where the spare wheel is). Most of the water noise is gone but I still hear some right underneath the gear box. This morning I had a lot of water inside on the windshield, water may be evaporating. Do you guys think it may be coming from the windshield thru the hood? I really appreciate all the suggestions.

P.S. I did notice the water is on sides of the car but its especially bad on the driver rear side.

Take a garden hose and spray the entire car while someone sits inside of it checking for leaks where you are spraying. Spray around the windsheild, sunroof, door jambs... that much water in your car, the leak should be noticable.

two common sources of leakage:
- Sunroof dranis as mentioned above
- pastic part in front of windshied whetre your wipers are.

There are moduels under your seats including the TCU that will get damaged if you let them get unyder water.
Get the water out soon!
