I am looking at adding another Audi to the line up. I found a 2000 A6 2.7T with 65k on it. The guy wants $9000. I looked over the car a little, will be going back later today to do more "looking". So far I see that the "dead pixel" problem is there, also the armrest cup holder is broken. The car started and idled beautifully, the turbos sounded strong. Is there any way to tell if any of the common problems are present (IE: timing belt, cv boot, mass air...)?
I want to get the car but I don't want to get stuck with a big (expensive0 problem.

This place is pretty dead on the weekend. You would have done better had you asked the question during the week when many of our members are loafing at work. Since you decided against the A6, what did you get?
