Default New 2012 Audi A6

Well - after 6 years of racing a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T - supercharged in the final 2 years and making 11.5 second passes at 120mph, plus a bit of road racing at the track - it was time to stop wrenching and start enjoying for a bit.

The Charger is sold and gone, but that made room for another fun Supercharged ride - just finalized on a 2012 A6 Prestige, Moonlight Blue Metallic, Nougat interior, etc....

Got lucky that the car I wanted was already ordered and on it's way - shipping shows it is in country at the port and the guys at Audi Lancaster expect it to be here this week some time. Can't wait to learn all the toys, get a better feel for how far this car can be pushed and enjoy a great quiet ride of comfort and capability.

Now for the final wait

DJ

Yeah that really was the win for me over the other cars i was considering. When my wife joined me for a test drive we both were already envisioning going to dinner, to the theater, etc....picking up another couple and having a real class ride. I really can't wait - and that's tough to imagine after how much fun i had with the Charger - but I'm READY!!!

Congrats again. I'm loving my a4 and it's not even that new and I'm already looking forward to a brand new a6 or a8 in the future

Congratulation on your new ride!!! I see you are buying at Autohaus Lancaster. I'm in the area. Maybe after you take delivery we could meet up one weekend?

Spiffy ride! Congratulations. I was so bummed that Audi was not bringing the avant version, but the sedan is a hell of a looking ride.

Just got my new A6 Saturday. Went in to buy a Q7 and test drove the A6 premium plus with many options. What a pleasure to drive. What great toys to play with. Only complaint.... No real room for cup of coffee.

Germans don't want you to drink and drive. Anyways, here is a great alternative.

Oh the humanity! Drove past the dealership earlier today thinking maybe the truck arrived with the two a6's coming in - and....it did! So there i got to see my car drive by looking SWEEEET and knew that they had to detail, prep, etc....

So.....another 36 hrs or so since tomorrow is out for me. Psyched to get the car home and learn all the new systems, setups, etc.... Should be FUN!
