Default New to the Audi world... Hello!

Hello guys,

My names Jag (cant use it as a screen name, someone else beat me to it!), and am picking up my A6 tomorrow (Monday).

All seems fine with the car, its a 1.8T with 80k miles, in fully colour coded Silver with 18" rs6 wheels (replicas i guess).

Few queries about these cars in general though:
1. When is the Cam belt/tensioners due on these things?
2. What size tyres can i squeeze on at the front and rear axles of these cars (i can get relatively wide tyres pretty damn cheap, wondering if they will fit)?
3. Where can i source an oem or uprated Recirulating Dump Valve (this thing has a VTA)?
4. What should i be looking out for as weak points on the car? What is genrally due for replacement for cars with this sort of mileage?
5. What are my options for getting a cd player/changer stuck into this thing?

All help greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Jag.

item 1 - should be done now. make sure u do the water pump and the two pulleys and serp belt.
the car should be wired 4 a cd chgr in trunk. check manual
check the front end, tie rod ends, control arms, bushings.

Cheers Beefski!
Front end seems fine, i fear one of the rear shock absorbers is gone/going though... are these costly?
the car has a few niggles, but one sorted, i can see us getting along rather well with each other. Once these are sorted, i guess a remap is in order to raise the not so adequate 150bhp to something a bit more healthy!

cam belt is the same as timing belt.
if it snaps due to wear and tear, you basically ruin your whole engine. pistons and valves can get bent etc etc. very costly if it goes wrong!
