Default New to the Family and Diverter Question??

Hey guys i'm new to the family, I just picked it up on Monday from Brooklyn NY had to drive about 3 1/2 hours up and back to get it. Its a 2001 Audi A6 2.7t 6spd AWD. I'm in love with it, i'm a former VW guy turned to Audi now.Anyways here are some pics all loaded up on the trailer getting ready to head home. My question is for diverter what should I run? I plan to do all the basic upgrades chip/exhaust/intake and know I need upgraded diverters so..I know there is the Forge 007,APR R1 etc...I want something that would sound good also like twin HKS SSQ's ...What do you guys think?

Congrats on your purchase! Gotta love the 2.7T with a 6 speed, great combination in these cars. You can run the Bosch 710N diverter valves (about $65 each) with a chip upgrade with no issues, and it's the least expensive option. The Forge 007 (about $100 each) is also a good option, it can be serviced, has adjustable spring rates and will last for the life of the car.Check out http://www.ecstuning.com/ and http://www.purems.com/

Well, first off, welcome to the forums. you will find this site really useful. remember to use the search feature.

I have the the same car, rims and all. Great car love it. Make sure you check the c/v joints in the front. Look for any signs of a torn boot or grease in the inner part of the rim. Im from philadelphia and I bought my car from a dr. in Manhattan, NY.

I have the 710N dvs w/ giac software and exhaust and it works great.
