Hi All,

This is my first post here. I am interested in learning all I can about a 1995 A6 quatro. Specifically, what are the common maintenance issues and failures most owners experience?

Regards,
BILL

Hi wm_sorg, welcome to the forum. I'm guessing you have the 12 valve V6 engine? How many miles do you have?

Thank you. I am Not sure. It is a 2.8 is that enough to determine if it is 2v or 4v?

yeah it is a 12 valve. Has your timing belt been changed? That is a major maintenance concern.

Not sure yet. I am trying to locate the service records. From what I understand it was dealer serviced (tune up, etc.) about a year ago. The car has 89.5 k on the clock. The engine and run extremely smooth.

I did notice the middle dash light is out between the tach and speedo. How difficult is it to change?
