I'm usually on Audizine since I have a B7 A4, but I've noticed that there is a bit more support here for the A6.

My wife and I just got the car a few days ago and we are still figuring out how the car works. One thing that I've read about already is that the trunk will not close automatically without pressing the button on the liftgate itself. I've seen a few options to getting that to happen and I'm gonna see if I can splice into the wires with a secondary OEM trunk switch and run that to the front of the car. Anybody know what that part number could be? Worse case I spend some time taking it apart and getting the numbers that way. I'll put up a ncie DIY if it's not too complicated.

You know... to be frank with you C5 was a better model than your C6. Especially the last model year of 2.8 which was 2001 is the ultimate avant year. You should really consider trading your car for one of those.

Come to think of it, I may actually know a person who has one...

Needless to say, I am jealous.

As for the trunk closure, I don't have the slightest clue, but what you are planning sounds right. Go look for one at vagcat and see if you can come up with one.

A question... What is that lip that you used on your A4? It is not cupra lip...

 

The lip is a deval CF splitter. I have a non-sline A4 that came with the OEM option Votex lip kit.
