Hello guys just picked up a audi A6 estate 2000 5v turbo model.

Drives lovely car had a replacment engine few weeks ago.

On the 200mile trip back half way through the oil low light come on the screen, pulled over was fine and this happened through the journey on and off but oil is fine?

Also im sure i read that there ment to do 133mph mine certainly wont do that seems pritty slow to be honest.

From 1st gear goes ok ish i know there not ment to be fast as only 150bhp and a heavy car.

But surely top end should be better is there anything i can do wind the boost up haha or just general checks why its rubbish.

P.s what oil dipsticks fit this engine as mine is kinda broke thanks

 

Bad oil level sending unit. Easy to fix.

Performance? Its a 4000 lb car!

 

It's too heavy to be quick off the line. The US versions are electronically governed to 133 mph which I was able to reach in 4th, 5th, or 6th. After chipping, it (allegedly) hit 150+ mph.
