Default Noise from front end at full locking turn

Well, I'm now permanently in the A6 forum. Sold my A4 and got an 04 2.7T 6MT, I love it. I do have one issue I want to address though. When I'm turning out of the driveway or into a parking space and I have the wheel at full lock, it makes a noise like the outer wheel of the turn is being dragged. I think this happened with my A4 and after having the tie rods replaced, it went away, but I can't recall if the noise was the same. I did some searches on this and some say it's the limited slip and other say it's either control arms, tie rods or any number of front end components. I have a warranty left until August, would this be covered if it were tie rod ends? Thanks in advance for the help.

This should be covered under the warranty. Drivetrain and basic warranty is 4 years or 50,000 miles. Audi factory warranty is 85,000 miles I believe. Tie rods, control arms, ball joints, shocks and struts are all part of the Suspension warranty. I would get it looked at. Also if it's a squeeling noise, most of them do this but it shouldn't be that loud. Hope this helps.

Nope, no squealing. I guess I'll take it by the dealer...the last thing I wanted to do the first week I own a car is take it in for repairs[:@]
