hi i have an audi a6 and the oil light comes on when i am driving at 70mph but when i slow down to 40 it goes off i have checked the oil and its ok but i do get a smell of burning oil. can any one help.

Check to see if the oil sender unit under the car located on the oil pan is ok and the the harness is not damaged.
