Default Oil in Intercooler Ducting and EGR Valve !!!

Recently I noticed some oil in the intercooler ducting and also coming out of holes either side of the EGR valve of my 2002 A6 Tdi SE. I proceeded to strip and clean all the affected areas. I didn't bother with the inlet manifold as I just wanted to see if the oil was residual or would it re-appear after cleaning. To my dismay, it re-appeared and therefore getting past seals in the turbo or maybe somewhere else. I also topped up the oil today as it was getting low and this made me think that I maybe losing oil through this fault. The car has done over 100K so it's safe to assume that some oil will be burnt but not at this rate considering I only carried out a service a couple of months ago. Does anyone have any ideas on this one.
Cheers,
JJ.

possibly a blocked vent pipe or failed PVC valve

*MOST OF THE TIME* i have noticed the PCV gets clogged when the weather out is cold and the car has been sitting outside.

check your turbo for play as mentioned. or listen for the dentist drill or siren.
