new to the forum and yes i've searched but would like a more definitive answer.

I'm looking at buying a 2k A6 1.8t. The oil level light stays on even though the level is okay. I don't see any signs of sludge.

So.. from my research I've got it to a sensor or a feed pipe on the sump? am i correct with this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't mind buying it and having to spend a couple of hundred, thats to be expected with any new car
