OIL Pressure Switch

OIL Pressure Switch
The oil light on my 96 A6 came on and we replaced the switch near the oil filter with one from a local parts house because we could get it immediuatly and it was leaking. But the light did not go out. The engine is quiet so we don't believe the oil pressure is low and it is full.
My normal Audi parts guy said that there was a low and high pressure switch, so we got one of each just to be safe. I think the low pressure switch goes near the oil filter but can't find where the high pressure switch goes. Does anyone know where it is?
I also saw that there was an oil switch relay -- Where is it and how can I check it. Also any other ideas?
BTW - I own 3 Audi's (A6, 200 Quatro, and 90 Quatro) along with a 1999 Passat (A4) wagon.

RE: OIL Pressure Switch
As far as i know theres only one sensor for oil pressure and thats the low oil pressure sensor switch. You may have a wiring issue with that sensor that is causing it to trigger the fault even when the pressure is ok.

RE: OIL Pressure Switch
It was the Presure switch. We replaced the origional with one from a local parts gyt ($135.00) and it didn't work. The on eI got from my normal Audi parts guy $22.00 worked !
