Default Oil Service Reset

How do I reset the flashing Service Oil that appears everytime I start the engine on my 99 A6 Quatro? Thanks for your help.

Sorry, only way I know is to get a VAG and clear the code.

Turn off the ignition.
Then turn on the ignition-( don't start the engine) while holding down the right-hand button.*Oil* will appear in the display.
Press the left-hand button until the OIL text is cleared.It shoudl appear very shortly.
Release both buttons,and u ready to go.

I assume you are referring to the speedo/odometer buttons?

This doesn't work for me. Have you tried this on a 99 A6 or a different year, model? Do you know the specific page where I can find this in the book, I've looked through it and I can't find it.

I do have the Ross Tech VAG. Where can I find this code? I cleared all codes for engine and transmission and the oil service is still there.
