When you hear those turbos going by you and your m5 has nothing more to be done... that will be the point where EVERY NON TURBO'ED SUPERCHARGED BMW feels like crap. Yes you will have a nice car, but the turbo aspect will just get on your nerves if you like to race

Yeah, I agree! Check out my last post. I'm pretty sure I'm staying w/ the Audi and going Stage 2 I'm not sure if I'll ever match the power of the M5, but Stage 2 will make me plenty happy I'm sure!!

rs4 ko4's (2300) or rs6ko4's(3500 with hardware kit) are stage3... for stage3+ you would go with larger turbos .

I know this sounds nooby as hell but is there a classification so you can tell the difference between stage 1 / 2 / 3?

I followed the a6 stages with the s4 stages from Vastperformance / awe-tuning and apr. I sortive made my own out of the best aspects from all of them.

www.vastperformance.com

ww.awe-tuning.com

Do research on all of the items from all of the them and you will be able to make your own custom tune. APR is a down tuned company. GIAC(awe) is a more aggressive with vast being the most aggressive. Giac(awe) and vast will be able to give you a custom tune if you want to go a little more fueling and try for more power.

I've actually spent a long time researching every possible thread I can find on here about the different chips, and I think I prefer the ARP specifically for that reason- that's it's the smoothest, least aggressive chip. My car's really (in my eyes) a smooth, fairly luxurious (compared to the fox-body mustangs I've always driven) daily driver, and I only get on it every once in awhile. I think the mild tune from APR will be just what I'm looking for, however, as we all know, enough is never enough, and I might get bitten by the speed bug when I get started
