Let me know if the M5 can take the S6? And why?

 

every M5 of any year you want can take easily a S6
but maybe not the 2007 S6 (with the 10)
generally the M5 is a big competitor to the RS6
but the Rs6 will never be beat by a M5 (in your dream bitch!!)

 

Any M5 will beat any pre-2007 S6. The new M5 will beat the new S6, but I think the newS6 would actually hold its own against one of the older M5's.

The RS6 would be a good race and would certainly beat the old M5, but I am not 100% sure that the RS6 could beat the new M5 without some work (chip).

I raced a couple M5's in my GTO (definitely faster than an old S6)and when I was cam only, it was a pretty close race between me and an older M5 with some minor mods. I edged him out by 2 cars to about 130, but it was a hell of a race.

 

M5 > S6

RS6 > M5

 

The M5 is deffinitly faster. You might be in better shape if you mod the S6 with chip trans and computer, Exhaust, EFK, LWP, intake. One of the biggest issues you will have is the M5 has a better gear ratio. The S6 has a 273 finial drive the M has a 373. you could have more power and still have race issues

 

Not all of the M5 are supper fast. The E34 (1988-1996)M5 would lose to a S6 everytime

though even the new one wiht the V10 is not that fast. It is more of a luxo cruiser...
around the track i think it'd be worse, the M is just lighter and more athletic in general.

The previous M5 was also wicked quick and was close in perf to the 03 biutrebo v8 rs6.

 

check out for the new RS6 twin turbo v10 ,,,, now thats an engine body!!!! get a M5 , put a turbo in it ,,,,, no way that this car can beat an stock RS6 twinturbo v10 560hp... the boost is at 7 psi,,,, imagine with 11-12 psi ,.... you'r probably gonna reach 650-700 hp min....
The M series is far behind the RS series of Audi...a stock RS6 (2002 and more) can reach 180 mph with a standard trans.... try to find a stock M5 that can reach that speed !!!

 

The new A6 V10 is more on the level of a 550i...which has the engine of the E39 M5. And yea the A6 kicks ***...if it was to lose on the straightaway it'll blow in out on the track. Audi is more nimble even though its a little big heavier. The M5 is more comparable to the RS6...which no way in hell will be beat my a BMW. Any performance BMW you throw at us...Audi will top. And if you want to Dinan stage 3 a BMW...we'll throw in an R10 TDI and fvck bimmers! Audi Supremacy b!tch!!!!
