Just to make sure I have this correct without having to take apart the other side. The thicker edge of the cage and inner race go down into the outer race and the thinner go up or toward the drive shaft. anyone have a picture. Thanks

 

Thicker end of the cage faces the opening and so does the notched side of the star thingy. Check audiworld tech articles, they have a pic of the outside.
