Default P0441 EVAP Purge Valve problem solved !!!

Well, i been fighting with my check engine light cause P0441 EVAP Purge Valve , but today i found solution, how to fix it.

At first, u need to check resistance with digital multimeter. Usually should show about 22 - 30 ohms.
Then check harness. Should show between 13-16 Volt (set your multimeter for DC measuring).
If numbers match with those posted, Looks like like your EVAP Valve is just JAM !!!

So what i did was really easy

Remove EVAP Valve and spray inlet with WD40. Then bring 12V in to it. You should hear and feel clicks. Change polarization of power supply and spray WD40 again.

After that, put all back together and start engine. If you not hear and feel clicking, just knock on valve

My start working on third whack

I am having the same code, thanks for the solution. However, I am new to Audis and also absolutly no expert on cars (maybe not even beginner) can you send me more specific information on how to fix it? Maybe some pictures or more detailed information on where the parts are?
Thank you so much!

Just solved mine, looked into the holes, one of them contained black stuff, with a needle/pin cleaned it up, connected hose to mouth, 6V (was enough to make it click) to valve and air went through without the former noted restriction, whoa!

I know this thread is dead, but I just wanted to post that this helped me out tremendously! Instead of having the EVAP syatem smoked for $200 just to FIND the issue, I used this thread and with the help of the forum, replaced the N80 Purge Valve on my 2007 Audi A6 4.2L!! Spent $30 and about an hour waiting on the engine to cool off. Maybe 20 minutes of labor... maybe. Very easy! 2 hoses, thats it! The car no longer has the MIL (P0456 code), gas is not being sucked out of the tank at a rapid rate while driving, and the A/C is blowing cold air consistently... Who knew that small part would make such a difference!
